Lead lined drywall is fabricated in our
Gibsonton, Florida plant using high quality Type X drywall and a
variety of sheet lead thicknesses from 2 pound (1/32" -.794mm) to 8
pound (1/8" - 3.175mm) lead as backing. We recommend any lead
thickness over 1/8" be backed on plywood. While usual and customary
lead heights are to 7', we can fabricate to full height lengths of 8'
or 10'. Our pricing includes the 2" wide by length of lead height
batten strip with one for each drywall unit purchased.
Drywall is available in 8' or 10'
lengths in both 5/8" and 1/2" thicknesses. Due to the high probability
of breakage 12' lengths are not produced. |
